I believe I posted quite a long post about my feelings in regard to the falling birthrate... But it seems to have disappeared. I did a search but it`s nowhere to be found.

Basically, there are too many financial demands. People in Japan like to feel very financially safe before having a child, but it`s quite hard to do so. As raising a child does cost money, people don`t want to end up not being able to afford to do so...
So they wait. And wait...
