I subscribed to this forum cause I saw the film "Babel". One of the subplots of Babel happens in Japan, and to the end, the deaf-mute girl, Chieko, gives a note to the cop. There is no explanation about what does the note say... and I would ask someone who knows japanese if could translate me the bits that are shown... I'd really appreciate it.
If someone has seen the movie, I would also enjoy chatting about japanese culture shown in it. For example, I found quite weird the attittude of Chieko, and I was very amused by the looks of japanese teenagers. The place were chieko meets her friends is also a curious place... do you have this kind of "leisure centers" with restaurants, video games, and everything, or it is just a normal mall?
Besides, I would also ask a couple of things about this forum, cause I'm new and don't know much about it. Is it a forum made by japanese people? Most of the users are Japanese or from around the world?
