It didn't hurt me, I guess it depends on the person. But I think it shouldn't because your lip if you pull it has quite a lot of skin and stretchiness, so when they pull it and then push a needle through it, it shouldn't hurt. Plus there aren't many nerve endings around that part.

It's very important to mention that you MUST move it around after you have it done, roll it around and such. Because sometimes (mine did) if you don't it gets kinda stiff and doesn't move...and then you may have to pull it, which hurts.
