Tokyo is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. In fact, the entire country of Japan is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited. The culture takes some time to understand if one isn't Japanese, but I have a ton of respect for the Japanese and their culture. What impresses me is their ability to maintain a connection to their past and history, even in a modern world, and with one of the most tightly packed populations in the world. I love strolling down the street of a modern skyscraper city, only to stumble upon a 2,000 year old temple nestled right in the middle of everything.
