What I do find annoying is those "We are changing times" episodes of Naruto where, when the show is moved to a different time slot they celebrate with a "top 10 fights" countdown... those are the real wastes of time!
Also.. about Gaara.. in one of the early episodes ( way before shipuden ) it explains about the Kanji for love written on his forehead.
Oh.. and also if you notice the episodes are actually longer than usual and the "specials" take up the place of a TV advertisement when they were shown on TV, not taking any time out of the "cool bits" as you say.

i have plenty of intention to discuss it, im just saying that they suck and it would be better if they stopped them. they could at least include something good or interesting. like little bits about the characters that we never knew or anything. all they do is act stupid and say stupid and pointless things that everyone already knows...
bleach ones arnt so bad though,at least their short and they used to have interesting things about the characters.
