I was confused a little bit as well.... just exactly what you said... I thought that Fuu had feelings for Mugen but then also Jin said something to Fuu what was far more confusing.... I didnt understand that at all.... something like he could take care of her or I really dont know what was that about ....
and ending was just like whole series... everyone was very individual...they found something they didnt ask for but then life was going on so they had to move as well.... but every each of them his or her own way
