Help with はいけません/はだめだ and そうだ - 02-10-2016, 06:55 PM

Hello, members. I just covered the use of the grammar mentioned in the title. You attach はいけません and はだめだ to the て form of verbs to state that a action is not allowed or should not be done. そうだ Is attached to the stem form of adjectives and verbs, as well as nouns, and shows conjecture. Below are a few examples to see if I have it right.

この雑誌を読んでいけません。Do not read this magazine.
赤ちゃんは寝る時走ってだめだ。 When the baby sleeps do not run.
緑の車は高そうだ。The green car looks expensive.

よろしくお願いします。 Thanks for all the help
