Mmmmm anime raccomandation well it depends of what you like best ... I can say what I think is a very nice anime in the current season :
All Out! is a very nice spokon genre seinen, even if I'm more for shoujo and shounen but this is a very nice anime indeed.
And about manga .... weel I'm currently reading Arslan Senki ... Arakawa works are always great ! I like so much her drawings .
