Do you know how Japanese books are made ?

The half of Japanese books are made "open right" and "read up to down".

ALL Japanese MANGAs are "open right" originally and can not be published as it is in overseas. Then, the oversea publishers modify original Japanese MANGAs to mirror-symmetry.

I have both Japanese version and English version of AKIRA vol. 1. Here you can see the difference of Japanese/English version of correspondent pages.
