I was kind of surprised when while browsing through the sports section of JF i did not find a word about the competitive eating... considering the fact that Takeru "Tsunami" Kobayashi is the unquestionable champion of the world in this crazy sport, that was a bit strange.
The Guy with a snakes jaws and a stomach big enough for an elephant can eat more than 50 hot dogs in 12 minutes... and was holding this record for more than 6 years o_O
Besides massive amounts of hot dogs, in just 12 minutes Tsunami can eat:

96 Hamburgers
100 roasted pork buns
69 bratwurst sausages
50 Summer Shack Lobster Rolls

And a lot of other food including all of the standard food-fighting championship ones...

And now Joey Chestnut the current holder of the hot dog eating world record has been challenged by Takeru in the New York's Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest 2007... It's going to be painful to watch
