Fantasy vs. Reality_______________

In my fantasy world,
It was forever.
It was meant to be
And we would never let go

But in reality,
It was hell.
And like a white line on black paper,
It showed.

Only in my dreams,
That lie would last.
And you'd be the future,
We wouldn't look back at the past.

When I look at it today,
You only brought me down.
You were never mine,
I'm so happy I'm without you now.

And everyday I ask myself,
"why didn't I do this sooner?"
