hey nothing wrong with sticking with film! Just two different approaches both with pros and cons.

I don't mind film, but digital is the best choice for me considering what I would use it for.

Samokan, I heard that the Nikon D40x is a good entry level SLR. My sister has a D50 that I've played with and that seems pretty good.

I'm glad kakaku was mentioned. I had never heard about it before this thread and after checking it out it looks like it will be a pretty big help.

Its also good to know that there are english speaking salespeople since I would want to get a camera soon after I arrived in Osaka. That'll help!!
