Thanks for the replies everyone. I hope Nyororin may help me out if she comes into this topic. Anyway, I just heard that youth hostels have curfews and that really bothers me. I mean, I will be in Japan for the first time in my life and I really want to explore the place and the nightlife but I will be restricted with curfews. Perhaps I should just go for the Sakura House for 35,000 yen a month and stay in a dorm with a ton of people and share the shower and toilet. *shivers* Maybe I should just add a bit more and get a shared room that has 2-3 people, but I bet you'll still need to share the shower and toilet with a bunch of people. Can better deals be found in Japan for guest houses that aren't as well known as Sakura House? What if I decide to stay a bit less than a month, will some of my money be returned since I didn't stay the full month at the guest house?
