Perhaps I should just go for the Sakura House for 35,000 yen a month and stay in a dorm with a ton of people and share the shower and toilet. *shivers* Maybe I should just add a bit more and get a shared room that has 2-3 people, but I bet you'll still need to share the shower and toilet with a bunch of people. Can better deals be found in Japan for guest houses that aren't as well known as Sakura House? What if I decide to stay a bit less than a month, will some of my money be returned since I didn't stay the full month at the guest house?

My advice would be to go with a hostel and, if you stay out, book into a capsule hotel (usually one close to a train station)... they are pretty cheap and I have done it many times when I have got drunk and missed the last train home lol
