Thanks for the replies. Will some of my money be returned if I don't stay the full month at the guest house?

Sharing a toilet and shower for an entire month doesn't sound so appealing. I hope they clean the toilets a couple of times a day. I will definitely be wearing some kind of sandals in the shower since some people may have some kind of foot fungus and I know many people like to urinate while they're in the shower.
