I found the characters too annoying in the anime but they may come across better in the manga.

Anyway I'm about to check out "The Big O". Giant Robo is one of my favourite all time series though I was really disappointed with Tetsujin 28, Robo just had so much more depth to it.

I loved the manga of Jisatsu circle, it was really interesting to see somthing diffrent from the film. I loved them both, but some parts in the film were more laughable then scary, but maybe they did that on purpose? Some directors make horror movies that are scary and funny...but somtimes Im not sure if they are trying to be funny or if they are trying to be scary. They both have a really cool strange trippieness to them.

If you found the anime characters anoying then you will probably feel the same about the manga. They act the same way. (although you dont have to listen to the manga characters screaming) They also introduce other characters that would come off as anoying (if you find the other characters anoying). I think if you didnt like the anime you wouldnt like the manga. I thought the anime was MUCH better then the manga. Although a the manga goes beyonde the point where the anime ends. There are some REALLY cool diclonious that apear and some REALLY cool fight seens. And Nyuu learns to talk (making her less anoying). So its worth reading for that, but the stuff that happend in the manga seemed so much of a strech that It was impossible to beleive, and the stuff they say, and they way they phrase it, and the way they move about and do stuff so just so awkwerd and weird.
