Because life is a risk? Just sitting on a computer there's a chance lighting is gonna blow your house up. Worst thing that can happen in a relationship is a no. Unless you don't have judgment and go out with people that looks like a rapist or murderer (is that a word?). What it sounds like to me is you guys are getting to deep of a relation. First year should just be to find out what the person is like. Maybe even second or third. Taking a quick look at your profile you're 14.
