illegal sushi -

well hello this is a question for someone who lives in japan. i was watching a video on youtube explaining like how you should act at a sushi bar of sorts. and it said that you should ask what the chef has that is illagal... and than it said that there is sometimes sushi from panda, seaturtle, and some endangered snake. i just wanted to know if people actually sell stuff like that?
