It's interesting that so many people have mentioned "ramen" in this thread. I hate to spoil the fun but it is true that most Japanese people, including myself, would consider ramen to be a Chinese dish. Here in Japan, you go to a Chinese restaurant to eat ramen, not a Japanese restaurant.
