Google says:

Masayuki = 2690 results (search = 勝幸 まさゆき)
Katsuyuki = 1320 results (search = 勝幸 かつゆき)

So there isn't necessarily any overwhelming evidence as to the Katsuyuki vs. Masayuki reading.
