do I need to go to collage in order to work in japan? -

How can I live and work in Japan with out any collage experience. I know most companies require you to have a bachelors degree. But I don't want to spend 4 years and shit load of money and BS just to get a nice piece of paper. Are there any loop wholes? Would I have a better chance If I mastered the Japanese language?
