thats kinda low for a financial banker... my brother is a financial banker for deutsche bank. when he started he started on £70k. which is $140k... (london)

also. becoming a VP by the age of 28 is almost an impossible task these days, there is too much competition. but you are right. if you wanna get rich, the best place is in financial banks.
also another thing people should know, these banks rarely employ someone that done finance or accounting at uni. they prefer people to do maths (aparently you're more logical if you get a masters in math or sciences, where as finance etc, its more straite forward, you just need to learn things. not figure things out)
