What does it mean when sentence end with -shi - 11-11-2007, 11:23 PM
名乗（なの）らなかったし,聞かなかったしな
and I often hear a lot , XXXX shi , xxxx shi in animes , what does it mean???

白鳥は哀しからずや、空の青、うみのあをにも、染まず ただよふ。
