To be honest...I agree with you. Don't get me wrong now, I don't think there's anything wrong with Americans drawing comics Japanese style. But when I look in the manga section and see crappy looking scratch that looks nothing like the Japanese fashion and it's entitled 'manga' (or Amerimanga or whatever) I can't help but wonder why in hell it's even published by a manga company.

I'm mostly disappointed in Amerimanga because the style doesn't even look like it's authentic, and it's just really not the same. There are some good artist in the Americamanga industry such as the authors of Dramacon, Steady Beat, and Relay, but other than that most of the American made manga looks like the art from cartoon strips in the Sunday newspaper or American comic books. It kind of brings a bad name to manga in a way...
