Americans have great comic books and artists, I mean stuff like Batman and Sin City is popular, so you don't have to go the manga route just to sell. Just be original, express yourself through your work.

agreed, I think that it even awsome if Americans express their lifestyle and religion in manga also. It al about making it your own and not a cookie cutting of someone elses.
