There are lots of non-fish Japanese foods, such as kara'age (Japanese fried chicken), tonkatsu (Japanese pork cutlet), yakisoba (Japanese chow mein), Yakiniku (grilled beef), curry, and ramen. Plus there are lots of Chinese restaurants in Japan where you can get all your favorites like broccoli beef or green onion pork. You should have no trouble finding non-fish alternatives in Japan.
