The way I understand it is that an "Emo" is someone who can't control their emotions and lets them run free or directs them at something else, example (now don't go crazy on my, not stereotyping) cutting themselves. Now that is just what I have understood from several sources (all friends). But "Emo" can also refer to simply the type of music, Hardcore rock, indie rock, or it can refer to the dark and isolated clothes fasion. I am very confused as to what really is this "emo" everyone talks about but I think I got a pretty good picture. Correct me if I am wrong.
