Thank you, and I apologize for coming in and blasting my own opinion without having gone through all of this thread first. But yes, while I will readily complain about stuff that bugs me about Japan, at the end of the day I really darn like it here. We’ve back-and-forthed between the U.S. and Japan for several years, and have just watched things get uglier and uglier over there (sorry if that offends anyone…), to the point where roots were planted here with no intention of returning. And as a parent with a small child myself, I was appalled to read about what happened to you. I can’t even imagine what I would’ve done.
