I think that explanation that Shadowulf gave is reasonable. but, I can't sure...
Anyway, I wanna try to correct something.
これから練習始めます -> これから練習(を)始めます (I think that it is better to put "を(wo)".)
雨が降り始まった -> 雨が降り始めた (renyoukei of the verb + 始める)
I think 日本人の友達と話したんだ is better than 日本の友達と話した in this context.
金 -> (お)金 (The expression 金 includes a kind of rude sounds and it is often used by a thief in plays or books. It is also used in daily life. But, I think お金 is better in this context. But, I think 金 is possible.)
今週、あまり金(が）ない(I think that when someone talks in daily life, が and を are often removed, but when someone writes, it is better to put が or を.)
The sentense 来週が楽しみにだ is not correct, and Shando_san has already corrected it.
来週が楽しみにだ -> 来週が楽しみだ
But, the sentense 来週が楽しみにしている is not correct.
来週、金持ちになるのに楽しみ（にしてる） -> 来週、
金持ちになるのを楽しみにしている or 来週、
金持ちになるのが楽しみだ。
（＿＿を楽しみにしている。 ＿＿が楽しみだ。）
