Uhm.. 16 is not very big. But it's great to begin with. ^^'' I got 16's in all my ear-piercings.
Just take it larger and larger, but leave it in and let it get used to it first.
Btw; it's painfull. ^^ Don't think there's any ''easy'' way out of it.
My personal oppinion is though, that stretching looks like shit. X'3 Up to you ofcourse. But yeh..
