Ok firs to get you computer set up you will need the original disk to get the language off of. Im assuming you have XP so here is a very useful guide thats pretty streight forward: GMAN: Windows XP Japanese Input

As for typing you just type in romanji and it will be translated into hiragana, katakana, or kanji. Example: どずよろしく
