Yeah I think there was 220 episodes of Naruto before Shippuden. But after Sasuke fights Naruto in the Valley of the End the rest of the episodes are fillers until Shippuden starts. It blows but oh well (so there is about 60+ episodes of fillers that has nothing to do with the story)
