And there's no chance that you can take Japanese classes as a subject at your high school?

It's a pity that you can't attend the university Japanese classes, but it might still be possible. Where I live, there are some exceptions where year 12 students can take one university course whilst still in high school. My sister completed a university subject in maths when she was still in year 12, so it's possible that your school could allow you to do the same. >.>;

Quite frankly, I really don't know what you could do if it has to be an official institute and you can't get the courses. .__.
