Yes i would go with suzumiya-san, straighten it. I always straighten my hair because my hair is curly but not as much as yours
But you shouldn't be angry, curly hair can handle more styles than straight hair. You know if you have curly hair you can straighten it but if you have straight hair it is hard to curl it
