[center]Serenade On D-Day

The music is unpracticed, the notes undying,
the melody haunting, her smile taunts me...Amid
the radiation, laughter drowned out by screams
Love itself has fallen to it's knees slain along
side our bleeding dreams, brothers in arms they
were, and so it seems that he is all left for her, and she for him
, no twilight no ending, merely them...In
their arms they cradle the final hym, in their hearts the
ever lasting chorus of love, in their eyes no existence of time
to their skin no feeling of deaths touch, only fond memories
of the strongest embrace as the world fell fast asleep
to the final lullaby, So all that is left are the remnants of tears
that even in death cannot dry, tears in the eyes of skelletons
, a man Clutching his girl...and an ancient melody in the aftermath
of destructions dawn...the sad song of "A wonderful World"
