The reason why America has such a shameful history (or why it seems) is because much of the horrible things in this countries history only stoped a short while ago not thousands or hundreds of years ago like most of the things you stated besides the halocaust. Only a little over half of the people killed were jews so its not like just jews lets not forget some ethnics and homosexuals.
