That makes you out of the ordinary? Good god, how full of yourself are you? Nobody, except the criminally insane and sociopathic, condones the murder of the innocent. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, sadly.

... That was MY point. So why were you saying that America has a "shameful" history when you seem to already know that it's not any worse than anybody else???

Given your post a while back about being in Thailand, I assume you're Chinese (even if not :P ). So let me ask this: What has China done that's so special? Before you answer that, define "special," 'cause I just had the thought I might be misinterpreting your meaning.

Not sure what you're talking about.... Again, I'm operating under the assumption that you're not an American National.

If that's the case, you have no business trying to be all "international." If you can't accept that a culture is how it is, then don't bother with other cultures. I went to Jamaica last fall and was rather surprised by the culture there. I was even pretty intimidated. Do I disrespect Jamaica or the Jamaican people for their culture? No. I might think some of their customs are strange and note that they'd be unacceptable here, but I wouldn't fault them for it.

For some reason, I'm just not sensing any sincerity there. I'm not happy. You say it, but I can tell you don't believe it. Sure, you might be pissed about the war. A lot of people are--you're not a special case. Most people don't use it as an excuse to spout a bunch of bullsh;t about American culture. Believe me, the majority of the people pissed by this war are Americans--a lot of us aren't sure what our government's up to and we're getting pretty antsy.
Until you become more open minded and matured a little, don't talk about America like that again. It'll only get you into trouble.

It's interesting how what's considered rude in one country isn't in another. I'm sure my old elementary school etiquette teacher would have a fit over the soup slurping thing. lol

I would, too XD . But I wouldn't go so far as to Japan-ify my name
. Well, I would on request. I would try my best to respect the culture, but I'd also make it known that I have one of my own, too.
This is if I were visiting, of course.
