I also have to sneak around with my Yaoi manga, like hiding it in drawers and such places. thankfully i have most of it on my computer, and i'm lucky to have my own laptop that my parents don't know the password to. *phew*
Still, it's kinda nerve wrecking when I'm going to a Yaoi Convention and my mum asks me what the convention is about.
The worst time i think was when i was at a friends place, and we'd collected our Yaoi manga there, when our other friend Nick comes in - also carrying Yaoi manga - and Sara's mother follows, worried that there's actually a slightly older guy in her daugher's room, alone with two girls. she voices her concerns, and then sees the manga. Is shocked, and then Nick lightly says "oh, don't worry about me. I'm gay". I thought she was going to call my mum right away, but we convinced her not to.
Well, it's just one more year until I turn 18. after that, no more sneaking around!
You only live one time. So live doing what you do best, and have fun!
