My mom bought a rice cooker a few months back and I made onigiri for my family. I bought some sushi rice and followed the instructions on the bag which were pretty simple. Then I just made up a filling since you can put just about anything into them. I cut steak into small pieces and sauted it with green bell peppers, onions, and bean sprouts which I had also cut up. then when I made the the rice balls I put about a spoonful of the mixture into them. It was really great!
