Well, I would answer definitely not. I assume someone could be controlled to destroy a building before either killing themselves or dying by the Death Note holders wishes. But, destroying a planet would just be impossible.
I don't believe there is anyone on the face of Earth who would have access to the weapons necessary to destroy a planet.
