On the fact that the death note in itself is not based on a limitation. The series never mentioned that the death note could only take human lives. It did mention that the person who's name was written in the note would die. It didn't say that a building who's name was written in the note wouldn't "die"... So as an opportunity to take the lack of facts and turn them into substantial theory I brought up the possibilities of the deathnote being truly multi dimentional...
Now I'm not saying that the deathnote would definitely kill the building, in fact if truth be told I'm relatively sure it couldn't but not for the reasons put forth so far...the real reason is .. Mwahah! I'm going to keep that a secret for now
