The story Jasmine is about a visual kei band known as Kawaii Acid Trip (KAT). They're a brand new band that's looking for fame, when all of a sudden the bass player gives up hope and decides to quit the band and marry his girlfriend!
Soon after, KAT is signed and begins working on their first single. But they know that they'll need another bass player, and their record company arranges for a new one.
His name is Ryuuko Chino, AKA Rui, and he's nothing like the band's other members-- he's cold, serious, and a bit mean. Unfortunately for Sen, the band's lead singer, he's also completely endearing and adorable, and before they know it, they've fallen head over heels in love with each other, despite the fact that Rui already has a boyfriend.
A friend who's helping me with the story a bit helped me find these awesome character portrayals, which I'll add here because they're actually pretty accurate as to how I envisioned the characters xD
