OK, there are some animes with sad ending, and definitely some people didn't like it. BUT still some thing you can call it ending.
the real disappointing comes when the anime has a good or amazing start and silly ending like:
- Berserk
- Ergo Proxy
- Noein
- Gankutsuoh
