Always love Interview with the Vampire. The book was better, but the movie was awesome, too.
It was sad. Does it make me twisted that I loved the little dance Lestat did with her dead mother? I was giggling the whole time.

Yeah they did a pretty god job with the movie, I know they cut a bunch but the end results were still effective.
On the other hand you have "The Queen of the Damned". I know there are a lot of people who loved the movie but I couldn't take it. The book was one of my favorite of Rice's book and they butchered it.
I own 17 of her books, all in hardbacks. (Servant of the Bones my #1 pick)
It's ashame Anne Rice isn't going to write any more horror. For those who don't know, after her husband Stan died, she publicly announced that she will only write Christian novels. No more vampire and witches! Although have to admit that "Out of Egypt" still was pretty good.
... and yes it does make you twisted! That's ok. I like twisted people!
