kuroi=black
akai=red
ki-iroi=yellow
shiroi=white
aoi=blue
cha-iroi=brown
(these are all adjectives, and become nouns without the final "i")
midori=green
hai-iro=grey
gin-iro=silver
murasaki=purple
pinku=pink
mizu-iro=light blue
kin-iro=gold
