Sushi / Sashmi is very popular but theres lots of places to eat that don't just serve seafood - lots of european style restaurants aswell.
I love Ramen and finding a good place to eat in Asakusa is not hard at all!
If you like McDonalds and Subway etc, there are HUNDREDS of them in Japan, I have to admit to not being a fan of McD's in the UK, but I was suprised at the cleanliness of thier establishments
