Just about all American bullets, 120 mm tank shells, missiles, dumb bombs, smart bombs, 500 and 2,000 pound bombs, cruise missiles, and anything else engineered to help the US's the war against Iraq has Uranium in it.
The reason they use it is it makes ultra dense metal, good for target penetration. This is really not harmful in most cases, unless you get shot by it. If you get hit and this bullet breaks up inside you, as they do and are designed to do, then you might live if it was only to the leg, but you are going to have to put up with like being X-rayed every hour for the rest of your life. There is no way to remove the uranium from your body.
The really only risk to civilians is the fact these bullets are lieing on the streets, and the US does not clean them up. Children pick them up and play with them. If you breath too deeply, your fucked.
Another one is when the bombs explode, I imagine it is going into the air, and doing the same thing. You would see this from 'Gulf War Syndrome' that the American soldier suffered from the last war, which is a bizarre culmination of sicknesses that does APPARENTLY not match what the soldiers were exposed too. Also, in the south most provinces of Iraq after the 91 war, the amount of birth defects and cancer illnesses in the local Iraq population tripled. It is probable these figures will rise again.
This is not really nukeing, but it IS making people sick. Just as usual, the US does not give a fuck, they just want the better bullets and fuck the people.
They do use chemicals as well. I know they do, mostly in their mortar rounds. The most common one used is White Phosphorus. I know they have it, we had it in the Australian Infantry. It is illegal, but a few countries don't care. It is just when you train to use it they tell you if you talk about it you will be charged. If you Google it you'll find stories they used it in Iraq. It incinerates people. If the gas hits you, your fucked, it is like acid. What it actually does is it can be launched in a mortar or bomb, when the bomb explodes the gas goes everywhere, when it is exposed to air, it heats like fire.
I dont think you guys understand, what they tell you and what they do are two different things. When I was in the Infantry I was trained in a method of riot control that is illegal coz it uses excessive force, but the Government had ordered the Army to train in it for the Timor operation, where the enemies really are mostly disgruntled civilians who needed a good beating. I trained to use chemicals, not just white phos, but other gases as well. It was all illegal.
Might I say by illegal I mean 'Protocol III of Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons' by the UN, which the US did not sign...
You also might be interested in MK77. The new version of the napalm bomb. Technically, it is not the napalm used in Vietnam, because it is made of different substances. But what that means is they have just found different chemicals to do the same thing. The effect has less impact on the enviroment, they say, but more impact on people, and it burns much better and much longer... They are using this bomb in Iraq. And they soldiers refer to it as napalm coz it IS the same.
- You know, when you hear things like this, the US is worried someone is violating a protocol that they themself refused to sign. A bit odd, no?

Watch this documentry. It is long, but it shows chemical weapons were used by the US directly on civilians in the Iraq war, both the ones I mentioned, WP and MK77.
Now are you going to say same like Japan, they had no other choice, and bombing the Iraqi cities like this saved lives compared to the alternative? In both cases, but esp. Iraq, the war was a push over, Iraq was an easy war to win, yet with the option of killing thousands of civilians in stead of the risk of loosing a few dozen of their own soldiers, they took it.

For the number. I don't like the war in Iraq and don't believe we belong.
I haven't since day one. I've protested and written letters. regardless of this work, it hasn't stopped and never well. Cliton left the door open for Bush to push the button. " I'll get it ready. You do it."
Bush and his fellow slaves do not listen to the people. Because the people want to be out of the Iraq and have for a very long time now.
Notice his response, " So?"

Regardless, at the end of the day I can always go to sleep truly believeing I am the bigger man, given I have the stomach to take a tumble rather than bear the alternative of incinerating little kiddies for my cultural and conceptual kicks of freedom and justice that really change nothing anyway. I am NOT the one who kills kids. LOL

Once again.
Tyrien = Not american.
Wow. You can sleep better because you're the " bigger man"
I'm very surprised by this. A " Bigger man" Is one who acts on his words. Have you protested or written letters or anything of that sort. Or do you stick to explaining war tacts to 14 year olds on forums?
" Ah ha, I know about people dying but I don't have to do anything about it because it's not my country or me doing it! "
Give me a break. That's the most childish bullshit ever.
You're just as fucking guilty as " arrogant Americans" no matter how much knowledge you have if it's not put to us, it's nothing. If I were you I'd be using it for the good of those dying kids, hey you might even get into a few of their pants. Fucking bigot.
