No, I understand your analogy perfectly. I thought it was a clear and concise description. I was just pointing out that that analogy is very narrow-minded.

But I was told it may be the cause of Gulf War Syndrome. I dunno... Plus, there is the birth defects and cancer. I dont know what caused them if not radiation.

LOL! Ah... well. You may be right (partially, at least) about the GUlf War Syndrome thing. Even though the uranium doesn't put a lot of radiation, it is still concentrated in one spot and is constant, so it could cause localized problems. But, since the Iraqis weren't using uranium in their ammunition, I doubt that it's the real cause. Um... for the last part... I'll have to take your word for it, but don't hold your breath for me (unless you're into guys o_O )ehhehe ^_^;;;

I bring that up because you were commenting on how American troops tend to not dive right into the thickest of fighting without using some kind of indirect method, first. They do it to minimize their own casualties. Not that it excuses the deaths of civilians, but that's why. I wouldn't expect any other modern world power to behave any differently. Except maybe China, who has an army that could afford to bleed itself on every little village and hamlet they come across.

You might call that idealism. I dont. I think if you understand better neither will you. I am not actually going to campaign for peace, or protest or anything. The thought makes me sick. I love war and worship brutality, I am just got my own style of it. I am like a monk, really. I sacrafice a lot about myself to turn me into a better man.

mmmm... I really don't know what I can say that I haven't already said :P

I (he) am 18, graduated high school last June, currently taking classes at a community college (for those that don't know :P ). Appreciate it, though! Most people I meet think I'm younger than I am -_- . I've been debating with people for a while, though, so I've learned to mostly stay away from the Ad Hom's and other things that tend to child-ize an argument.
