It is relatively easy to get a decent job. If you have a specific career in mind, that could be more difficult. No matter where you are, it takes a lot of work to make money so Japan is no different in that area.

The weather, we have four seasons and a rainy season late spring/early summer. Supposedly Hokkaido does not have a rainy season. It is like everywhere else that has the same latitude I suppose. So if you are from Florida you will die in the winter whereas if you are from northern Canada maybe August will do you in.
