yeah man, it's all about the small places down random back-alleys in quiet areas... I think that, because they are not as busy, they can afford to take more time so the food tastes much better

Anyway, my recommendation is to head to Yokohama for the day then, when you are finished, get the negishi (keihin-tohoku) line to isogo, come out of the station and follow the road to the left - after about 2mins walk (on the right), is the best ramen shop ever!

I will take a photo of it tomorrow if I remember (after posting my orig post, I realised how much I want to visit again hahaha!) so you know what to look for!
